A shower: Part 1

The other day I was taking a shower. I was in my own home and in my own shower, a familiar place. After several minutes the water began to feel cool so I slightly twisted the handle to adjust the temperature. But the water just got colder. I reached out again and moved the handle a bit. Same result. Frustrated, thinking that we had run out of hot water, I reached out one more time.

Oops. I had been turning the handle the wrong direction. I changed directions and quickly warmed up.

Why do I keep thinking about this? I'll let you think about it for a couple days, weigh in if you'd like. Next week I will unleash my thoughts.

Steve, you're wierd, but I like that about you.

You said your shower is a familiar place. Probably (we hope) a place you visit everyday. You've probably turned the temperature handle in that shower a couple hundred times. It should probably be second nature to you, that when you want hotter water, you instinctively know which way to turn the handle.

But for some reason, instinct was gone. Not only was it gone, but you were convinced that something was wrong with the shower handle and not your thinking.

That is why I think you can't stop thinking about your shower.

Can't wait for those thoughts to be UNLEASHED.
